Hosta 'Rainforest Sunrise' is a compact, mound-forming plantain lily, reaching a height of just 25cm or so. It has thick, oval, cupped, prominently veined leaves of chartreuse to yellow, with dark green outer margins. In June and July, upright stalks carry fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers of the palest lavender – almost white.
