Dried Artemisia Bunch (Silver King)
If your arrangement needs a cool, calming backdrop, Artemisia is the answer. This stunning foliage plant dries to a beautiful shade of metallic silver-grey, adding a "frosted" look that is absolutely essential for winter styling.
Also known as 'White Sage' or 'Silver King', the tall, slender stems are clad in soft, felted leaves that release a clean, herbal fragrance when handled. It is the perfect architectural foil for bright colours, cooling down hot oranges and reds, or blending seamlessly into a snowy, all-white Christmas theme.

🌿 About these Stems
These are the air-dried stems of Artemisia ludoviciana. They are harvested in late summer when the silver pigment is at its peak.
The Texture: The leaves have a soft, felt-like texture. The stems are sturdy and upright, providing excellent structure to bouquets without drooping.
🎨 Styling Ideas
Artemisia is a "neutraliser" that brings harmony to arrangements:
- The Christmas Wreath: It mimics the look of frosted pine but lasts forever. Tuck sprigs of Artemisia into a spruce or moss wreath base for instant sparkle.
- The "Cool Down": If you have bright red or orange dried flowers, surround them with Artemisia. The silver tones tone down the heat and make the arrangement look sophisticated rather than garish.
- Aromatic Bundles: Hang a small bunch in a bathroom or kitchen. The steam/heat releases a faint, clean sage-like scent.

Perfect Dried Companions
Create a stunning display by pairing Silver with deep or white tones:
- 🌹 Dried Red Roses: The Winter Classic. Deep red roses against silver Artemisia foliage creates the ultimate traditional winter/Christmas look.
- ☁️ Dried Gypsophila (White): The Ice Queen. Mix silver foliage with white clouds of Gyp for a "Frozen" inspired theme that looks elegant and minimal.
⚠️ Foliage Care
The silver colour comes from fine hairs on the leaves. To keep them looking bright and metallic, keep the stems out of humid environments (like steamy bathrooms) which can turn them a duller green.
